Progress, money kept and orbs

Silex shows three numbers on the Today tab. Each one is calculated on your phone from what you told it during onboarding and what you've logged since.

Days free

The number of full days since the date you last gambled (you set it during onboarding), minus any days you logged a lapse. It is never reset to zero: a lapse costs that day, not the ones before it.

Current run

Days since your most recent lapse, or since your last-gambled date if you haven't lapsed. This is the streak that does start again.

Money kept

Days free × (your weekly stake ÷ 7) − whatever you logged losing in lapses, never below zero. With a $140 weekly stake and 30 days free, that's $600 kept.

• Set a goal, change the currency, or hide amounts in Settings. Hide money on the Progress tab does the same.
• Reaching your goal earns the Kept Gold orb.

Today's pledge

A daily check-in on the Today tab: I won't gamble today. Thirty pledges earn Steady Hand.

Journal

Opened from the Progress and Program tabs. A timeline of your urges, lapses and pledges, your written reflections from the program, and from Day 15 a chart of how your beliefs about gambling are shifting. Ten reflections earn Scribe.

Your orbs

Twenty collectible orbs mark real progress, each opened with a short reveal. They can't be bought and there is no leaderboard.
